German Convention 2010 Themed Einigkeit
This year, the anniversary of German reunification, Maggie Walker Governor's School will host the VOGS German Convention – themed “Einigkeit” – in Richmond on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27, 2010. To commemorate both this momentous historical occasion and gathering of students from all over the state, MLWGS German has organized a weekend celebrating all things German. Attending VOGS members and non-members alike, can look forward to:
- An authentic German lunch on Saturday as well as locally catered dinner on Friday
- 30 workshop choices covering everything from German cars to folk songs to Frederick the Great
- A thrilling Battle of the Brains trivia competition; as well as competitions in Music Videos and Forensics
- Our guest speaker, distinguished John Hopkins professor and German speaker Dan Hamilton
- A Friday night dance to the latest German hits
- Countless other fun German activities
The MLWGS German Club has been working around the clock to prepare an exciting and educational weekend for students all over the state, united by a passion for German. So don't forget to register, check out our workshops and activities.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE AWARDED. MLWGS German will not award any refunds after payment has been recieved due to a Registered Participant's inability or unwillingness to attend the Convention - no exceptions.
